Information for Members of the Jewelry Trade

Diamond Review is a web-based community of diamond jewelry enthusiasts, consumers, and industry members. Consumers gain the information and confidence they need when purchasing diamond jewelry, and jewelers gain exposure to customers. Diamond Review does not sell diamonds or jewelry.

Diamond Review is provided by Diamond Review, Inc. We have been in business since 1999.

Currently, there are four ways for jewelers to participate in Diamond Review. They are described below.

1. List your diamonds in Diamond Finder

Diamond jewelers may list inventory on Diamond Finder through the use of a daily or weekly data "feed" to our servers. You must be a bona-fide member of the Jewelry Trade, meet our technical specifications, and pay the applicable fees to participate in this program. Most Internet jewelers and local retail jewelers are eligible. Please contact us for details.

2. Post a coupon

Jewelers (including appraisers and other relevant vendors) may post a coupon in the Coupons area. Coupons must be relevant to Diamond Review's visitors. To post a coupon, you will need to provide:

  • a 1-2 line text message describing the coupon (example: "10% off any diamond earrings, please mention coupon code DIAMONDREVIEW10")
  • a URL where you would like visitors to be directed to, if they click on your coupon
  • a 250x100 GIF image to accompany the coupon (must be non-animated, optimized, and aesthetically pleasing)
  • the coupon expiration date (must be reasonable)

Risk-Free Trial: Post a coupon for three months, for FREE! To continue after the one-time trial period, there is a small yearly fee. For additional exposure, coupons may also be posted on the "Coupon of the Day" area of the home page for an additional fee, and if space is available.

Please contact us if you'd like to post a coupon, and if you have any questions.

To maintain a high-quality experience for our visitors, Diamond Review reserves the right to reject any coupon for any reason at its sole discretion.

3. Submit an article

Jewelers (including appraisers and other relevant vendors) may submit articles for the Articles section of the site, or improve existing articles. Articles (or improvements) must be relevant to Diamond Review's visitors. Your article will be attributed to you, and include a link to your website if you'd like.

There is no fee for submitting an article or having it published on Diamond Review.

To submit an article, please follow these guidelines:

  • Use standard HTML using the following tags: H1, H2, H3, H4, B, P, UL, OL, LI, IMG, TABLE, etc. Do not use inline styling of any type.
  • Any photographs must be in JPG format, must be optimized, and must not be greater than 600px wide. Any illustrations must be in GIF format, must be optimized, must not contain any color (just white, black, grey), and must not be greater than 600px wide. Photographs & illustrations may bear a small attribution or watermark if you wish.
  • Hyperlinks are generally not allowed within articles, unless they reference third-party content that is central to your article (for example, if your article is about a GIA study, you may hyperlink to the original GIA study on the GIA website). We will provide a standardized attribution with a link to your website.
  • Keep your article to a reasonable length.
  • Be sure to proofread for spelling & grammar errors.

All submissions are accepted at our absolute sole discretion and made part of the site. This means we may subsequently remove it or change it, decide where it gets placed in the index of articles, and otherwise exercise any rights set forth in our Terms of Service (which you should read to be fully informed of all the legal details and requirements). Feel free to contact us first, before you spend a lot of time on the article, so we can discuss whether it is really needed or relevant to the site. We do try to be reasonable. Generally speaking, we'll publish detailed articles about any specific, relevant theme, and reject elementary/broad articles that are already well covered (such as the 4Cs).

4. Participate in the forum

Diamond Review encourages jewelers and members of the Jewelry Trade to become active members of The Diamond Review Forum. By answering questions, discussing issues, and making yourself generally available, you demonstrate your expertise and willingness to provide helpful advice, and you expose your name and your business to diamond consumers.

There are no fees associated with using the Forum. To get started, simply register for the Forum, be sure to read the Forum Rules (particularly with regard to self-promotion), and then start posting!

No banner advertising

Currently, Diamond Review does not accept banner ads. Instead, we suggest you promote yourself by participating in any of the ways suggested above.
