READ FIRST: What is Diamond Review?

Diamond Review is a web-based community for diamond jewelry enthusiasts, consumers, and members of the Jewelry Trade. We are here to assist you with your important diamond jewelry purchase. We do not sell diamonds or jewelry ourselves.

How long has Diamond Review been around?

We've been in business since 1999, starting with our flagship site DiamondReview.com, expanding to FindMyJeweler.com in 2001, and recently founding this site, Diamond.info. Our mission all along has been to increase the efficiency with which diamond consumers and diamond jewelers do business, by increasing the amount of information and trust available to both sides.

What is your relationship to jewelers, appraisers, and other members of the Jewelry Trade?

We are an independent venue for consumers and retailers. We are not owned or controlled by any jeweler or retailer, and we do not sell diamonds or jewelry ourselves.

How does Diamond Review make money from this site?

We charge jewelers for posting diamonds in our Diamond Search engine, and in some cases, we also join "affiliate programs" or other revenue-sharing programs offered by various jewelers or other third parties. Although we currently don't accept or display any advertising, we may do so in the future (but only if we have to -- we *hate* advertising!!).

Using Diamond Review

I have questions about diamonds, diamond jewelry, or the diamond industry in general. How can I get answers?

Post your questions on the Forum! Our knowledgeable community members are glad to provide answers, usually within a few hours.

I'm not crazy about purchasing a diamond without seeing it first. How can Diamond Review help?

Do your research online here at Diamond Review, then find a local jeweler that will help you. We can assist you in finding a good local jeweler if you use our "Find a local jeweler" feature, sponsored by FindMyjeweler.com, on our home page.

I'm leery about providing my e-mail address to you or to FindMyJeweler.com. Should I be concerned?

No. As victims of "spam" ourselves, we take the utmost care with handling any information you send to us, as if it were our own. Please read our Privacy Policy for more detail on this topic.

Diamond Review was very useful during my purchase, and I'd like to "give back" in some way. How can I do so?

There are several ways.

First, we're always looking for experienced folks to help out the less experienced consumers. The best and easiest way to do this is to participate on the Forum.

Second, we're happy to accept suggestions and ideas. Simply contact us and let us know what's on your mind.
