How does FindMyJeweler work?

After you submit your request, we will provide you with the contact information of one or more jewelers that have passed our test and meet our strict criteria. We will also ask the jewelers to contact you directly, so you can ask questions and make an appointment once you're ready to learn firsthand by looking at actual diamonds and jewelry. When you're ready to make your purchase, you will do so knowing that your jeweler has been tested and screened by FindMyJeweler's staff of diamond jewelry experts.

How does FindMyJeweler test jewelers?

The foundation of our screening process involves a "secret shopper" test, performed by one of FindMyJeweler's staff of jewelry experts (which includes a former diamond dealer). During our tests, we look for: Integrity, quality, expertise, service, proper gemological equipment, proper education & professionalism of staff, reasonable pricing, trade reputation, ethics, and much more.

Is it free? How does FindMyJeweler make money?

FindMyJeweler is completely free to consumers. Jewelers that pass our "secret shopper" test are invited to participate, and pay us a fee to appear on our website and to receive requests from consumers.

NOTE: We only invite jewelers to join FindMyJeweler AFTER we perform our tests and decide to extend an invitation based on their outstanding results. Jewelers cannot "buy" their way into FindMyJeweler.
